The Nevada Alternate Assessment (NAA) Department ensures that teachers are trained to adequately administer the assessment per state and federal guidelines to eligible CCSD students.
Works with NDE to distribute information regarding NAA administration.
Provides assessment administration instruction to eligible CCSD staff.
Conducts staff development to meet the needs of individual teachers.
Consults with teachers, SEIFs, and administrators on NAA procedures.
Provides technical support to IEP teams regarding assessment criteria.
