The Interpreting Services department provides American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting and/or speech-to-text services for students and adults, ensuring access to communication during instruction and Clark County School District (CCSD) sponsored activities, by:
Assigning interpreters and/or speech-to-text providers throughout CCSD to provide direct support to meet the needs of students
Providing educational interpreters who work as related service providers.
Serving as a communication facilitator between Deaf and hard of hearing individuals and those who speak to communicate.
Providing services in a variety of settings to include: classrooms, field trips, assemblies, extracurricular activities, and meetings.
