Department Overview

The Office of Professional Learning is committed to empowering educators and support professionals across the Clark County School District by providing high-quality professional learning tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities. As a part of the Student Services Division, our mission is to support teachers, Special Education Instructional Facilitators (SEIFs), and support professionals in delivering effective, rigorous, and comprehensive instruction for all learners.

 

We offer targeted professional learning and coaching opportunities for teachers focused on:

  • Developing and implementing effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Enhancing instructional strategies for diverse learners

  • Strengthening literacy instruction to improve student outcomes

  • Crisis Prevention Institute Nonviolent Crisis Prevention Training (CPI-NCI)

We offer targeted professional learning and coaching opportunities for support professionals focused on:

  • Serving Students with Disabilities
  • Crisis Prevention Institute Nonviolent Crisis Prevention Training (CPI-NCI)
  • Behavior Intervention and Data Collection
  • Supporting literacy instruction in the classroom

Through collaborative learning, job-embedded coaching, and ongoing support, we aim to build capacity, foster instructional excellence, and ensure that every student receives the high-quality education they deserve.
