Occupational and Physical Therapists (OT/PT) support academic and non-academic educational outcomes for students with disabilities in an educational setting.
Participates in annual IEP meetings for each student on their caseload.
Evaluates and treats students with disabilities.
Provides training to schools to facilitate students’ safe access.
Recommends adaptive equipment and environmental accommodations.
Works collaboratively with school staff and parents/guardians.
